1. Laucala, Fiji

This amazing resort occupies the whole island close to Tavenui, that can be reached from the capital of Fiji Nadi only by the resort’s private jet.

Laucala belongs to Dietrich Mateschitz, the owner of Red Bull and he doesn’t do anything by halves. This all-inclusive paradise is third most expensive resort in the world (rates start from about USD$5,000 per night) but the experience is truly worth it.

Lauacala is a large island (12 sq kilometers), yet it has only 25 stunning villas. Each villa is at least 300 square meters and offers its guests the latest in comfort and technology as well as absolute privacy so rarely found in this busy world.

While Beach Villas are amazing (they come with a private stretch of white sand just for you and your loved one), Cliffside villa or an Overwater villa are the ultimate honeymooners dream – each villa magical each in its own way.

Activities are another highlight at Laucala. They vary from submarine rides, to private tennis, golf or yoga lessons, luxury boat trips, waterskiing, scuba diving and so much more. All activities, food and beverage, even one spa treatment per couple are included in the tariff.

Dining at Laucala is wonderful. Guests have a choice of 5 restaurants (each offering superb cuisine) or can dine on fresh lobsters and French champagne in their villa. The choice is yours and the Laucala team will make sure you have the most unforgettable honeymoon ever.

Laucala is private, romantic and stunningly beautiful island – a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion.

 2. Constance Halaveli, Maldives

Maldives is one of the most popular destinations in the world for honeymooners. A combination of breathtaking natural beauty, ample marine life and exquisite resorts with overwater villas are a magnet to those seeking romance and seclusion.

There is a multitude of chic resorts to chose from. Our choice is Constance Halaveli. It is a true bare foot luxury paradise. Pack light as all you’ll need on your honeymoon is thongs, swimming costumes and a casual outfit for dinner time.

Accommodation varies between oversized Beach Villas and Overwater Villas, all of which come with their own private pool.

Days at Halaveli go very quickly whether you decide to take it easy or busy yourselves with activities.

Guests can choose to simply enjoy their surroundings, stay on their deck  admiring the turquoise lagoon and each other or they can occupy themselves with activities like snorkelling safaris (see turtles, pretty coral and a multitude of colourful fish), dolphin or sunset cruises, yoga lessons or spa treatments.

Halaveli team prides themselves on their service, perfect in every way, very professional yet warm and friendly. Perfect Honeymoon destination!

4 INCREDIBLE HONEYMOON DESTINATIONS YOU’VE NEVER THOUGHT OF

3. Burj Al Arab, Dubai

For a third option we have chosen Dubai, a colourful, modern, wealthy city that will impress even the most seasoned traveller.

Dubai has the best of everything – shopping (they pride themselves on having every brand in the world), food, night life and chic hotels. If glitz and glamour your idea of a perfect honeymoon then head straight to Burj Al Arab.

This sensational hotel will take your breath away. Burj is out to impress its guests from the minute they arrive in Dubai. Your limo driver will great you at the airport and escort you to a white Phantom Rolls Royce. Ladies might be greeted with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, gentlemen will choose the music for the occasion from the menu presented to them in the Rolls Royce.

Suites at the Burj start from whopping 300 sq meters and feature sweeping staircases, gilded taps, mozaic bathrooms, mirrored ceilings in the bedroom, sweeping views of the Arabic sea, personal bar, pool room, dining room and an office. The insane accommodation comes with a couple of dedicated butlers who attend to your every wish.

If you decide to leave the suite (a hard task to accomplish) you and your loved one can play a game of tennis on the rooftop, enjoy a spa treatment or go for a swim at the Burj private beach.

THE BRIDE BIBLE: WOWZA HONEYMOON DESTINATIONS WITH HITCHED MAG

A dinner at the signature restaurant of the Burj Al Arab, Al Mahara is a must.  The restaurant is set up in what looks like an underwater magic world; diners you are surrounded by the deep blue and a multitude of fish, anything from colourful tropical fish to large reef sharks. Unforgettable setting plus caviar and champagne on the menu will guarantee a night to remember.

All three destinations are amazing, yet different in their own way. Try the one that appeals to you the most or combine all three for a trip of a lifetime. Have a wonderful honeymoon!

This is amazing! Look at the Fiji one.
But since most of us can’t afford to stay at these places, could you please do an article of places where it’s still lovely but affordable?
