When we think of beauty icons, our minds are transported to the days of old Hollywood glamour; The days of structured hair, red lipstick and strong brows; The days of Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor. Although we flick through the pages of glossy mags and admire Blake Lively’s glowing skin and Kristen Stewart’s ability to rock a smoky-eye, there’s no denying it: they just don’t make ‘em like they used to.
