While there are still some shortcomings when it comes to gender equality in the workplace, we have come a long way. To me, there is nothing sexier than a woman in a modern suit, it announces power and strength and ambition.
Spring 2013 collection shows saw the likes of Christian Dior, Stella McCartney, Mary Katrantzou, Saint Laurent, Calvin Klein Collection, Jonathon Saunders and Mulberry send their modern day interpretations of the suit down the runway.
The modern suit is a great way to amp up your work outfits, no longer are we confined to the navy or grey pinstripe ill fitting suits of yesteryear! Everything from the shorts suit to crisp whites means there are endless options for you to choose from.

I love everything about this trend!
I love modern suits that aren’t the usual off-the-shelf types which all look the same and are quite loose. Modern suits that are cut well have taken the power suit ethos of the 80’s and early 90’s and have made them attractive.
