Beauty How-To: Tips & Tricks To Remove Fake Tan

Method #2: Bi Carb Soda

Bi carb soda, that little box of myriad uses that sits at the back of your pantry, now has a new role!

Process – For it to become your new best friend when it comes to tan removal, mix up the bi carb with a little water to create a paste (the amounts of each of these is entirely up to you and how much of your body you need to cover – as long as it becomes a thick, paste-like mixture). Apply to your body, leave for twenty minutes to half an hour and scrub off.

The best part about using bi carb is that it is oxygenating, breathing new life into your skin as you wait. As it is also used as a home remedy for rashes and stings, bi carb will soften the blow and give your skin some relief when it comes time to start scrubbing hard.

Just tried the baby oil… was horrible. It actually made the tan more difficult to remove. Spent exactly 2 hours in the shower which is insane and really bad for your skin and nearly scrubbed my skin off. Don’t try this unless you have nothing to do for an entire day
