With the return of classic glamour and refined, lady-like make up- matte lipstick is a staple for this polished, retro look.

From a classic red to bring out the inner vixen in you, to a seductive nude perfect for complementing a bold, smokey eye, or a bright hue in pink or purple to bring a shot of colour to the face- play with colours, shades and textures to make the look work for you.

Matte lipsticks can dry out lips, so keep them in shape by exfoliating (we love Lip Scuff from The Body Shop) and conditioning, using a lip balm or treatment, before suiting up in your favourite shade.
