For a bit of a giggle, down below you’ll find a hilarious 1940’s makeup tutorial. We often look back at the pin-up era with a glazed expression on our face, and daydream about how glorious the “good ol’ days” would have been. I mean, let’s face it, the 1940’s gave us commercial television AND the slinky. It was obviously an awesome era.* However, judging by the stern look on the teacher’s face in this makeup class (and the foreboding fear that if I get it wrong I’ll be in serious trouble), I think I’m much happier living in a time where the approach to lipstick and rouge is a bit more laid back.
So scroll down for a bit of a laugh, and on your way check out some of the decade’s most beautiful women.
*The first half of the decade was war-torn, which is obviously not the part I’m calling awesome.
