Recently, I was lucky enough to be invited to the launch of a great new food concept called Dish’d. Held in the gorgeously intimate garden bar at the Establishment in Sydney, (and with more great food to sample than you could imagine), the evening certainly did not disappoint!
Dish’d is a gourmet (yet amazingly affordable) food home delivery service that is unlike any other in the marketplace today. Spearheaded by celebrated chef Jacques Reymond, and backed up by a bevvy of food-obsessed chefs behind the scenes, Dish’d is built around the idea of introducing people to the best food from around the world in the easiest way possible (ie direct to your door.)
At the launch, guests were treated to an endless supply of Moet & Chandon, the most delicious entrees and canapes (the company has a large focus on home party catering), and everything from gourmet pizzas, meats, to vegetarian pastas and the BEST DESSERT SELECTION I HAVE EVER SEEN!! (sorry for the caps, but it was THAT amazing.)
For a crowd that never queues for anything, it was quite a sight to see the whole room flock to the dessert spread to sample the tarts, cakes, crepes and pastries of all descriptions – the delicious smells of which filled the room and had many going back for seconds.
