Nicole Cooper is the founder of blog Confident Liar and one of the most talented photographers I know. Having worked with the likes of Vogue Australia, Candice Lake, and Westfield Sydney (just to name a few) we got a sneak peek into what life is like for this busy young businesswoman.
7.15am – First alarm sounds and I (routinely) hit snooze.
7.30am – The second alarm goes off and I force myself out from underneath the covers after a quick scroll through Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
8.15am – Out the door of our terrace house to head to my local cafe for a serious caffeine hit.
8.20am – Arrive at the studio, throw on some music and start off the day by replying to emails.
9.00am – Begin editing the latest Behind The Scenes imagery from Vogue while keeping an eye on emails and blasting my music.
11.00am – Head out of the studio to meet with an agency to discuss test shoots and have a go-see with their fresh faces.
12.30pm – Drop off a few rolls of film to be developed and grab my favourite salad from Maloney’s on my way back into work – figs, pomegranate, apricot, pear, pecorino, cos lettuce, and rocket topped off with a balsamic vinaigrette.
1.15pm – Back to retouching and emails while booking jobs for the weeks ahead.
3.30pm – Load my cameras up with more film and meet with a model for a quick test shoot in the golden light – just before the sun goes down.
5.30pm – Make way back to the studio to log memory cards, sort out film and answer a few more emails.
7.00pm – Leave the studio for ciders and pizza with friends at my local pub, before finally heading home for the day.
