8am: Bianca and I meet for our first coffee of the day at Kawa on Crown Street. This is one of our favourite cafes namely due to the ridiculously friendly staff that always know it’s juice time (watermelon, apple and pineapple) directly after coffee.
8:30am: Arrive at the showroom. First up: Skype meetings with our New Zealand-based labels (they’re two hours ahead so we like to catch them in the morning) and getting excited about upcoming AW14 collections. At the moment, we’re already discussing big plans for the New Year.
9:30am: Respond to some email briefs and put together send-outs for press.
11am: Press appointment, which involves showing editors and bloggers through the collections.
12pm: Catch up on our favourite blogs and online publications. Sometimes we find it hard to believe that this is actually part of our job. We love it!
2pm: Pick up a quick lunch to eat back at our desks- usually some rice-paper rolls from Miss Chu.
3pm: In-store sales appointment. We like to do appointments both in the showroom and in-store. It is always nice to get out of the office and know first-hand where your labels are being supported.
4:30pm: Afternoon pick-me-up and coffee.
5pm: Quick impromptu meeting with one of our lovely clients.
6pm: Emails, emails and more emails.
8:30pm: Walk down the road and enjoy some Japanese from our favourite local, Samurai Sushi. We frequent this place at least three times a week. De-brief on the day.
10:30pm: Some final emails and putting together a to-do list for the next day.
11pm: Update content for OMGBEE– our creative outlet for showcasing work put together by our group of contributors.
