Life as a busy entrepreneur is not as easy as you might think, but when there are jewels involved, its always that little bit brighter!
As a young, inspiring businesswoman, we asked Aleen to document a day in her busy life to get an insight on what its really like to start and run your own business!
7 am: My alarm goes off from the other side of the room! There is no way I would get out of bed if the alarm was next to me (hello snooze button!)
8 am: Make my way to the train station with my large chai tea in my hand, looking forward to reading my book on the train.
9 am: Emails, emails, emails! But first, another tea!
10 am: Working on upgrading the website, have a quick look to see what else needs to be done and work out the list of what designers will be launching.
11 am: Scoff down an early lunch while chatting with the girls in the office about a favourite topic, men!
1 pm: Hop into a cab to get to a photo shoot for a magazine which will be released in September. Such a surreal experience getting hair and make up done, while getting to wear an awesome outfit (I just want to walk out with it!).
4 pm: Back in the office to work on more emails and make sure all orders are sent out so customers have their goodies the next day.
6 pm: Head off home to make sure I make it in time to my soccer game (so sad to take off the pretty make up!).
