#1 – White Christmas

Food:

If you’re hosting a White Christmas this year there’s only one way to do it, and that’s with big, hearty meals. Think: seasoned roast turkey, maple-glazed potatoes and heavy-on-the-carbs salads. Fruit cake is ideal for dessert, but if you’re not a fan you can always make a Black Forest Pavlova or a Cheesecake.

Drinks:

Eggnog, Baileys and Mulled Wine.

Dress:

A long white or red maxi dress screams white Christmas, however – with our Aussie seasons in mind, keep it modern, stylish and flowy (unless you happen to own a snow machine in which case, go for it!)

Setting the scene:

This will either take on an American or European feel for the White Christmas Dinner – decorate the dining room with snowflake decorations and fake snow or white cushions to create that iconic cosy atmosphere. If you’re feeling crafty why not make your own chocolate-filled Christmas bon-bons to use on your table-setting!
