The start of a new year marks a time for new beginnings, but for many of us it can be hard to pin point what it is that needs altering in our lives. For some, the realisation that they require a lifestyle makeover comes from a lack of motivation. For others, it’s staring at a blotchy makeup-free face in the mirror, whilst some reach this conclusion when rolling around in a floordrobe, pleading to the powers above for an outfit miracle.
We’ve highlighted 5 common signs that suggest you may be in need of a makeover; whether it’s physical, mental, or emotional.
1.”You look tired…”
As much as this acknowledgement is appreciated when you’re not feeling your best, it can be a real kick in the gut when you’re not at all tired! It can be especially painful when you’re actually sporting a full face of makeup and had your 8 hours recommended sleep… but try not to take it too personally.
Although it might have you questioning your appearance, it is possible that those around us are noticing some physical changes to our personality. An uncommon distant stare, expressionless face or disinterested slouch can all be responsible for that dreaded observation.
