Zimmermann Class Of 2013

With a Gossip Girl-esque inspiration, high society collides with youth to bring us possibly our favorite ZImmermann collection yet.

Desgiern Nicky Zimmermann sought to expose the eccentric and salacious nature that lies behind what seems like a refined and perfect world.

Private school blazers take on new life and the old sports tunic assumes a modern approach in buoyant, voluminous textures and shapes that add a hint of the unique to the otherwise classic shape.

As always, Zimmermann’s construction and tailoring is impeccable. Silk drapery celebrates the female form while the sports-luxe details in zips and neck ties hint again at the school yard. 

The colour inspiration was drawn from vintage upholstery and wall paper.

Pencil-drawn emblems, chandeliers and ribbons by artist Courtney Brims are reminiscent of schooobooks filled with doodles.

Accessories are super feminine- T-Bar pumps, kitten heels, and sweet leather backpacks, speaking of a Zimmermann girl that is refined and sophisticated yet just a little bit cheeky.
