From a scoop-back one piece to a fail-safe, bandeau bikini – investing in new swimwear come summer is something we never seem to be able to avoid! Once you’ve got your head around the fact that it’s finally socially acceptable to dive into Bondi Icebergs (and not freeze to death), it’s probably due time that you begin to factor in your next swimwear statement.

#1 – The Classic Scoop Back One Piece:
Whether she’s in Santorini or exploring the local beaches in Sydney, jewellery designer Samantha Wills certainly knows a thing or two when it comes to fashion. In the name of swimwear, however, she’s nailed the scoop-back trend with this statement one piece, equipped with minimalistic spaghetti straps. We think this swimsuit is perfect for a lazy Sunday by the beach, simply add on some denim shorts later and you’re free to wander.

#2 – Lingerie Style Bikini’s, like you’ve never seen before:
Tash Oakley is no stranger to the wonders of a great bikini. And, thanks to her summer-inspiring Instagram feed, neither are we. Just recently, the lingerie style bikini caught my attention – and just like Tash, we’re obsessed. With a supportive lingerie-like underwire and back tie, in a bold burgundy colourway – this bikini is perfect for making a statement this season.

#3 – A New Season Take on the Terracotta Bikini:
There’s simply nothing we love more than a splash of colour. And, when it comes to swimwear – colour can make all of the difference to the overall appeal.
If you’re in a bid to convert from black or neutral swimsuits, we’re betting this next bikini as worn by one of our favourite Instgrammers, Sarah Ellen – won’t fail to catch your eye.
Terracotta hues are quite literally the new black, and this summer we just can’t go past them. Adorn them as a set or pair either back with additional bikini basics, and your summer-set.

As far as new-season-trends go, a soft blue print is a pretty safe investment. Our favourite printed swimsuit this season, goes to Spell Byron Bay – as seen on travel blogger Jessica Stein.

While it’s true that prints are having a moment this season, it’s the perfect excuse to invest in more than one. With a selection of bold, differentiating prints catching our gaze this summer – how could we limit ourselves to only ONE print this season? Exactly.
Alongside the perfect baby blue seaside print and the forever bohemian mix n match, we’re also loving the La Dolce Vita style – as seen on Emily Ratajkowsi. We love the ethereal nod to architecture seen within this print, and who could say no to bold yellow? Simply order a margarita and you’re done.
