#1 – The Classic Scoop Back One Piece:

Whether she’s in Santorini or exploring the local beaches in Sydney, jewellery designer Samantha Wills certainly knows a thing or two when it comes to fashion. In the name of swimwear, however, she’s nailed the scoop-back trend with this statement one piece, equipped with minimalistic spaghetti straps. We think this swimsuit is perfect for a lazy Sunday by the beach, simply add on some denim shorts later and you’re free to wander.

#2 – Lingerie Style Bikini’s, like you’ve never seen before:

Tash Oakley is no stranger to the wonders of a great bikini. And, thanks to her summer-inspiring Instagram feed, neither are we. Just recently, the lingerie style bikini caught my attention – and just like Tash, we’re obsessed. With a supportive lingerie-like underwire and back tie, in a bold burgundy colourway – this bikini is perfect for making a statement this season.

#3 – A New Season Take on the Terracotta Bikini:

There’s simply nothing we love more than a splash of colour. And, when it comes to swimwear – colour can make all of the difference to the overall appeal.

If you’re in a bid to convert from black or neutral swimsuits, we’re betting this next bikini as worn by one of our favourite Instgrammers, Sarah Ellen – won’t fail to catch your eye.

Terracotta hues are quite literally the new black, and this summer we just can’t go past them. Adorn them as a set or pair either back with additional bikini basics, and your summer-set.

#4 – The Perfect Printed One Piece.

As far as new-season-trends go, a soft blue print is a pretty safe investment. Our favourite printed swimsuit this season, goes to Spell Byron Bay – as seen on travel blogger Jessica Stein.

We just love the summer-like-approach to their wanderlust prints, which equally doubles as a fashion piece. For instance, simply pair with denim shorts and your favourite beach-appropriate shades, and you’re ready to hit the beach or your favourite breakfast spot, in whatever order you please.

#7 – New Season Bohemia:

For the perfect swimsuit to translate from beach season to festival season, look no further than investing in a new season bohemian printed bikini. Just like Isabelle Cornish, we love a mix n match print – especially in both neutral and bold colourways. All you’ll need is a neutral kaftan or loose fitting day dress, and you’ll be prepared all summer long.

#8 – The Vintage Swimsuit:

For a vintage approach to swimwear, we love the idea of a button-up or laced swimsuit. With their classic V-necklines and sculpting silhouettes, a featured neckline exudes the perfect vintage-esque approach to summer swimwear style. We recommend, opting for classic hues such as French Navy, Camel, Red or Black. Take your cues from Parisian designer Jeanne Damas, and make a button-up your next swimwear investment!

#9 – Earn Your Ruffles:

Investing in the likes of a ruffled bikini is as good decision as any. Aside from appearing absolutely feminine a ruffled swimsuit is actually just as timeless as any ordinary swimming ensemble. For a classic look, opt for neutral to plain colours and cuts with just the right amount of frill. Just like model Georgia Fowler, you can earn your frills with ease this summer.

#10 – La Dolce Vita Prints

While it’s true that prints are having a moment this season, it’s the perfect excuse to invest in more than one. With a selection of bold, differentiating prints catching our gaze this summer – how could we limit ourselves to only ONE print this season? Exactly.

Alongside the perfect baby blue seaside print and the forever bohemian mix n match, we’re also loving the La Dolce Vita style – as seen on Emily Ratajkowsi. We love the ethereal nod to architecture seen within this print, and who could say no to bold yellow? Simply order a margarita and you’re done.
