#2 Go bold on the eyes
Taylor’s look focused heavily on a dramatic magenta eye. The classic palette that has all you need to achieve this look, is Anastasia Beverly Hill’s Modern Renaissance Palette ($75, Sephora).
- Start by applying an eyeshadow base to ensure the colour lasts all day.
- Blend a light nude eyeshadow through the crease.
- Next, apply magenta eyeshadow all over the lid. Be sure to wing it out towards the brow for added drama! Blending is key and remember to start off light handed (you can always build up the shadow later).
- Add depth with dark brown shadow to the outer ‘v’ of the eye and run into the crease. Using a flat brush, run the same magenta and brown colour along the lower lash line.
- Lastly, add small wing liner and a pair of fluffy lashes to complete the look!
Top-Tip: For a less dramatic look, use a lighter hand when applying the magenta eyeshadow to get a sheer wash of colour and try keeping the colour close to the outer ‘v’ of the eye instead of winging it out to the brow.
