RiRi’s first collection must have sold well for international retailer River Island, because Rihanna is back for round two- with her latest collection set to drop into stores (an subsequently online) later this month.
The popstar has included super comfortable tie dye jumpsuits with a hoodie, and sweats which sport her likeness looking sexy with “fat days” as inspiration, which proves that even pop stars have those shleppy moments when you feel like a sack of potatoes.
But while there are some comfortable pieces in the mix, there are enough that are “gangster” as Rihanna puts it, with “enough rock ‘n’ roll” to satisfy the Rihanna fan in all of us.
She says, “I made a piece for everybody in my crew. We all have different body types and different tastes,” she says in the clip. “I needed to make clothes for fat days. I just wanted to make stuff that I want to wear. I was being selfish.”
Of the women that inspired the collection “Some are braver than others, I think thats how women in the world are, we are all different we all like different things, have different moods, and different body types.”
