Tip #4 – Ground the space
We hear it and see it all the time in interior design magazines, and it’s true: nothing will define and ‘ground’ a space faster than a rug or two. An excellent way to aesthetically elevate any area in the home (including covered outdoor spaces) is by styling it with an oversized area rug.
In terms of design, the sky is the limit! You may want to choose one with an interesting pattern and eye-catching colour for visual interest, or perhaps you decide on a rug that subtly ties your home’s colour scheme together.
