Sass & Bide takes the runway at New York Fashion Week forSpring 2014 by storm after six years hiatus, presenting its SS14 collection, ‘FREETOWN’ on Tuesday 10th September.
Says Heidi Middleton, one half of Sass & Bide of the show“We wanted it to be a tale of many worlds and channel those into a polished aesthetic…I’m calling it ‘considered chaos.’”
In that, Middleton spoke true. The collection is a delightfully eclectic mix of tailoring, silhouettes and fabrics that came together in perfect harmony, creating a collection that is amazonian, sexy and powerful.
The pieces are luxe, yet wearable, powerful yet feminine and quite simply…pure perfection and by FAR our favourite collection from the label, ever. Perhaps its perspective away from the NYC limelight, or the fact that the duo are more wordly, wiser and have embraced motherhood. Whatever it is, its working!
