L’Oreal Paris Runway 3 was definitely one of my favourite shows to date. Perhaps because some of my favourite Australian designers showcased their delightful offerings to a packed Melbourne audience.
All the designers in this particular showcase are strong printmakers. Alice McCall is well loved for her candy brights and flirty prints, and as always she delivered with quirky, feminine pieces that easily move from season to season.
Ginger and Smart’s fashion forward digital prints, leave you wanting nothing more. There is a firm, steadfast dedicated following of the label and for good reason- beautiful pieces that last a lifetyle.
Ksubi ‘s much coveted Christine Centenera approved outfit was the highlight of the evening. Beautiful baroque prints, and edgy chain prints make this a luxe, high fashion collection.
If you are looking for Australia’s best up and coming designer, look no further than Michael Lo Sordo. We are eagerly awaiting his MBFWA show this year, as with his AW collection he has intelligently thought about the female form and what flatters. Of course Michael’s signature prints are strong as always making each piece a treasured item in your sartorial arsenal.
My biggest fashion girl crush has to be Yeojin Bae. Not only is she the chic-est person around, her pieces are amazing. YB J’aime by Yeojin Bae is a delighfully feminine, fresh collection full of lace, red power suits and colour!
The L’Oreal Paris beauty look perfectly accompanied the pieces walking on the night. A beautiful bright bold eye in an emerald/teal matched a fashion forward slicked back look. You can check out Rae Morris’s awesome how-to video below!
