Label Love: Sunday Somewhere

With Summer almost here I have had to make a few life changing decisions about what sunnies to buy. Okay, maybe it’s not that drastic but if you are anything like me I always like to buy at least one good pair every season. In my search for the perfect Summer sunnies, I stumbled across this new Sydney eyewear label called Sunday Somewhere. The brand is the brain-child of eyewear aficionado’s Dave Allison (COLAB eyewear) and Carlos Aviles (AM eyewear) so it is clear from the get go that you are guaranteed a quality pair of beautifully crafted shades. Their first collection entitled “We Light Up” is inspired by life and symbolises new beginnings and the love of life (pages digital). Simple in design, their frames retain a cool attitude about them and an originality that sets them apart from other eyewear brands out there. They are influenced by the past and the future and so incorporate vintage styled frames with intricate modern detailing and futuristic materials.
