Label Love: Bless’ed Are The Meek

I have had a serious love affair with Bless’ed Are The Meek, which was only amplified last year at Fashion Week by their use of a killer laser show (what can I say, flashing lights mesmerise me).

The latest collection is KILLER and features none other than Anja Konstantinova doing what she does best and hits stockists such as David Jones, Glue Store and online at blessedarethemeek.com.au in July.

Designed by the obviously talented Maria Maung,the collection reminds me of the process of a painting. The collection begins with a monochromatic canvas and is slowly, effortlessly layered with jewel blue tones and aquas, and ombre effects that work like brushstrokes to create beauty.

There is always an element of futurism in each collection, and beautiful leather shorts and vests coupled with metallic accents of sequins provide a sense of modernity.

The collection is every bit the Bless’ed Are The Meek woman that I imagine the label speaks to. She is easy, chic and effortless but has a care and keen eye for design and artistry that echoes throughout her wardrobe.

All in all…killer collection! (I know I have already said that, but it really is!).
