Jason Wu Resort 2013

To date, this is one of my all time favourite collections from Jason Wu. It is a slightly darker, edgier aesthetic that his Resort 2013 brings to the table, which shows something of an evolution from his previous seasons.

Wu’s sharp tailoring and lines were just as prevalent but included a few key pieces that proves that Wu’s talent can master the art of drapery just as elegantly.

In a nod to the key trends to come out of resort, neon accents and bold prints were there- but with a unique take that really highlights the artistry for which Jason Wu has become well loved for.

Accessories were well highlighted and ranged from lovely totes in neutrals and brights, three-colour combo bags which doubled as clutches, glam evening sandals, pumps and dressed up flats.

These are the sort of clothes that are made for real women. Sure the threads look great on the pin thin gals modelling them, but the cuts and style speak of a truer woman, curves and all.
