Jaime Lee presents her latest collection “Light Magic” which is quite possible one of the most breathtaking runway shows I have seen in a long while.
Drawing inspiration from the Neo-Gothic cathedral architecture of Europe, the collection is a real life imagining of light, texture and something truly has that je nais ses quoi. The collection is somehow part silver screen siren of days gone past, part mythical goddess and entirely jawdropping.
Jaime Lee has been widely praised for her incredible skills as a designer and an innovator- there are truly very few designers in the world left with a level of vision and execution that Lee offers.
Lee beautifully intertwines her expert use of colour and digital manipulations throughout the collection, combined with silk tulle and French lace capes, and incredible hand beading.
I could go on and on about this show and collection, but I think the pieces and images really just speak from themselves. Lee was recently acknowledged by Vanity Fair in their recent ‘worlds best courtier’ feature, which is really all you need to know about how incredibly talented this young designer really is.
Dream wedding dress? I think so!
