DIY Projects: Chandeliers

I am a huge culprit of intending to start DIY projects, buying all the necessary accouterments and then never completing the task.

As I am currently re-decorating my house (by currently I mean always) I was looking for chandelier options when I stumbled upon some amazing DIY solutions which give a unique quality to whatever room you are overhauling, and these are projects that I am intent on trying and completing!

There are some amazing DIY tutorials around like this one at Ruffled, this one at iDIY, this one (which is my favourite) at Live and Learn, or this one over at Instructables.

Take a peek at some DIY inspiration for a fun January project!

My mum actually bought me two old ugly gold chandeliers from the op shop and we’ve taken them apart and sprayed them a shiny black and re attached the crystals and they look amazing!! It was so cheap too, total cost for both was $80!
