Dita Von Teese to Launch Collection at David Jones

From this November, Australians will be able to channel the style of Dita Von Teese, thanks to the department store ‘David Jones’. The ultra glamorous and lusciously feminine style icon is set to launch her exclusion 5 piece collection, entitled ‘Muse’. A true reflection of her distinctive, retro style, the collection comprises of vintage inspired dresses flaunting couture detailing, built-in corsetry, and silk Crepe de Chine lining. Each piece has been constructed to suit the female form, and even includes grosgrain ribbon to cinch in the waist.

The collection also boasts a tulle-layered trench coat, and is drawn together by a classic colour palette featuring blacks, reds, and original rose prints. Unlike many others, the collection will be available in sizes 8 – 20, with Dita expressing that ‘offering a collection that caters to women of all sizes is very important to me’. If that wasn’t enough to make you like her (and to give a huge nod to designer plus size clothing), she went on to say that ‘Muse is designed to complement a multitude of body shapes, so every woman can celebrate her natural beauty and feel sexy in a gorgeous dress”.  

Here at BWA, we will definitely be checking out the collection – and secretly hoping they’re reasonably priced!
