Chopard At The Basal Watch & Jewellery Show

Chopard’s luxury timepieces are one of those classic items that you save up for, or reward yourself with and treasure forever after.

As much little works of art as they are functional, Chopard’s latest models for 2012 which were recently shown at the Baselworld Watch and Jewellery Show were well received by critics as  immaculately created, thoughtfully designed masterpieces.

With ladies like Alexa Chung favouring the brand it is clear this is one watchmaker to watch out for (see what I did there!).

Chopard unveiled four timepieces at the fair which you can have a gander at below.

While I know these are definitely out of most peoples price range (certainly out of mine!) it is nice to see how the other half lives and take watch inspiration from one of the leading watchmakers in the world!

My favourite of the new pieces is definitely the Imperiale Tourbillon Full Set which features an 18 carat case and a dial entirely set with diamonds. A close second is the L.U.C Lunar One which showcases a truly delightful little dial featuring the orbital moon phase.
