We take a look at our favourite Beauty and Hair trends from the Spring Summer’14 shows:
1. Golden Lady
From Gold eyebrows at Christian Dior to Golden threads on the eyelashes and gold leaf in the side parts at Dries Van Noten all that glittered on the runways was Gold. Pale gold shadows at Dries and Dolce & Gabbana left models looking fresh and luminous.
2. Barely There
The make-up this season? Minimal or ‘No make-up’ was the look. From Chloe, Proenza Schouler, Narciso Rodriguez, Valentino, Giles, Jil Sander and many more, fresh faced natural beauty was in order. Brows were defined and lashes subtly coated for added drama but ‘no make-up’ makeup is a look we love and could get used to. Hair was left naturally tussled or straight to complete the look.
3. Pony tails
Secured at the nape at Stella McCartney, Jason Wu and Valentino the relaxed and always cool ponytail is back. Off your face and simple that’s how hair should be worn for Spring Summer 14. No fuss just healthy manageable locks.
