Beauty Regime: Organique by OPA Skincare

Organique

I recently had a comment that hit me for six! A friend of mine in the cosmetics industry mentioned in passing that the skin around my eyes seemed very dry and dehydrated. Being a woman that never used skin care products or moisturises, I tried to cover the dehydration under my eyes with concealer. FAIL! It just made it worse, so I reached out to my friend for advice. I wanted an Aussie brand, not too expensive and at all costs I wanted to avoid that heavy thick moisurising feeling. She recommended Aussie brand Organique.

Organique is an Australian company that was founded from a desire to bring skincare users a unique range of products based on combining and carefully balancing natural and organic Australian ingredients with specifically developed and selected scientific active components to give effective, gentle and beautiful to use products that means healthy skin.

Organique products are created to provide natural, effective results and products that are safe and beautiful to use.

The main ingredient used in the Organique range is Macadamia extracts which comes from…..of course the Macadamia nut, selected from an organic farm in Queensland. These extracts contain a high level of mono-unsaturated fatty acids and a noticeably high level of palmitoleic acid, which means it is not only extremely hydrating, but also the closest thing to the sebum produced by human skin glands.

Organique products are also high in Vitamins A, C and E to reduce wrinkles and fine lines by repairing damaged dry skin. These help protect against harmful UVA and UVB rays to repair collagen and reduce damage, keeping the skin you’re in feeling younger, hydrated and moisturised. Just what I needed! So off I popped to the chemist to pick up a Hydration Pack…..and after 2 weeks of using the products, I am A NEW WOMAN! I have never felt my skin looked better. The Hydration range includes the below –

Rehydrate Balancing Toner– This is a great start to my new routine, it makes your skin feel alive and clean. Rehydrate Balancing Toner removes all traces of surface impurities as well as restoring the skin’s natural acid/alkali balance.
Rehydrate Facial Serum – the serum is so light weight and drys instantly! My kind of skin care. It contains Chamomilla Recutita Flower (Chamomile) that improved my skin dryness and red blotches I had on the side of my nose and chin.
Rehydrate Eye Concentrate– MY SAVIOR! I think this was my most needed product as I had very dehydrated skin around my eyes. I simply dabbed this serum under and around my eyes every morning. I was conscience not to over do it as you can over hydrate this area and create puffiness. The key was patience. With small amount over the 2 weeks I saw a real difference. The moisturising eye cream integrates Aloe Leaf Juice, Macadamia Seed Oil and Vitamin E to give the eye areas long-lasting hydration. It also has fast absorbing Chamomile oil and Vitamin C that effectively help the fragile eye skin. I loved how fast absorbing and drying it was, there is no slimy feeling half an hour after applying.
Rehydrate Day Cream, Rehydrate Night Cream were not like the serums, it was slightly thicker, but absorbed really quickly and did not lather like other moisturises I have used in the past that turned me off skin care. Loved this final step, it left my skin feeling very fresh! It worked well as a makeup base also. I noticed my foundation and bronzer lasted a lot longer with this moisturiser as a primer.

I also purchased the rose scented hand cream. Thinking I would forget to use it, as I never had a skin routine in the past, I popped it in my hand bag. The theory was, if I saw it more, as apposed to tucking into my bathroom cabinet and saving for special occasions, I would use it more regularly. It totally worked. Everyday I have used the hand cream and love the smell. Pulling it out at dinner with some girfriends, I had a request from one to use some. It quickly made its way around the table and all the girls loved the scent. I mean really, roses……can’t go wrong.

So all in all, my results are evident from my gorgeous friends commenting that I look great and very relaxed….love that because I am out of my mind stressed! Also I am wearing a lot less make up. I never have been one to cake it on, but with reduced dryness under my eyes and a lot less red blotching around my nose and chin, not much foundation is needed these days. Could a girl ask for more?

Seems I loved the range so much, I though you gals would too. I have chatted to Organique and they are putting together a few packs for our members. Watch this space for the giveaway coming soon on BWA.

Signing out, one VERY hydrated lady.

    Hi Mariane,

Thanks so much for writing in.

I am sorry you have been given this information but can confirm it is absolutely not correct.

Organique is an Australian company incorporated in the State of Victoria and it’s head office is in Abbotsford Melbourne. It sources ingredients in Australia and manufactures in Melbourne. It’s director Ken Glynn is a resident and Australian national. Organique does however seek to export its Australian made products to Asia and views the Asian market as an important contributor to Australia’s current and future prosperity.

    Cheers,
    Meg.

I am VERY surprised. I went to by the product from one of the Beauty shops here in Melbourne (I dont want to mentioned for privacy reason) and she told me that Organique is a Chinese Company!!!! not Australian.
