Being dubbed the “Mad Men in the sky”, the US ABC show “Pan Am” is already slated to become a huge success.
Which is all the more exciting as two of the leading cast members are Christina Ricci and our very own homegrown gal Margot Robbie- who you may remember from her stint on Neighbours as Donna Freedman.
Robbie, who plays a stewardess and beauty queen, has revealed that part of the costuming for the show involved super tight girdles for that 60’s retro ultra-feminine look
“The girdles make you walk a certain way,” she said. “I don’t know how women in the 1960s did it. I don’t know how women got dressed by themselves.”
Since 60’s mod fashion is so relevant right now, in part thanks to Mad Men’s success- we are sure this cast of pretty young things are set to become fashion icons once the show airs.
