Audrey Loves – Hello You :)

I’ll be honest – it’s not very often that an app comes along that I get very excited about, however I have just come across the new Hello You:) app by greeting card kings, Hallmark, and I have to say I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I am sharing it with everyone here because I am pretty sure you’re all going to love it too!

Hello You:) is a super easy to use (and majorly addictive) greeting card app that enables you to send customised greeting cards to your friends and loved ones for ANY occasion. Once you download the app to your iOS enabled device here, it is as simple as selecting your category from the virtual card shelf (ie friendship, love & flirts, birthdays) choosing a template you like, then customising it to make it your own.

The vast majority of the card is customisable – you can enter personalised names on the cover design, upload photos from your albums or Facebook, edit your message, and the most brilliant part – it allows you to insert your very own handwritten signature (via a cool typepad), so you can literally sign the card off in your own handwriting! The finished product is just like a real card and it’s so personal (which is exactly what giving cards is ALL about!)

What I also love about this concept is that it brings back the act of giving cards, and not just for the obligatory “special occasions” but for every day. It’s a thoughtful gesture (and one that is often overlooked) when you send someone a beautiful note to say “I’m thinking of you.”

…So back to the app! You have the option of sending the card via text or email for FREE, or you can have it printed and posted direct to your recipient for $5.95 which represents great value and saves a lot of wasted newsagency lingering as well.

To celebrate the launch of the app, Hello You:) are running a pretty adorable competition where randomly selected users get their greeting card delivered via a ‘Post Puppy’ – that’s right, a real little mailman puppy delivering your card!
