Blue is definitely one of the hottest colours of the season. Fresh off the international runways, blue beauty has been spotted in the likes of Dior, Fendi, Topshop, Armani and Moschino who are bringing back the 60’s look with winged eyeliner and bright eye shadows.
From sapphire to cobalt, and electric blue to metallic, these shades can make your eyes look rich and royal. Whilst it is a very bold look, and done badly it can look like you have been socked in the eye, if you use blue wisely it can look exotic and fashion forward.
Take this trend from runway to reality by applying blue liquid eyeliner on your upper lid or blue eye pencil on your lower lid for a more subtle pop of colour. If you are brave enough to try something more daring, try mixing up some eyeshadows with blue hues on your lids to achieve a smoky look. To keep the focus on your eyes, finish off with a nude lip and a soft blush.
