#3 – Sleek High Ponytail
Gone are the days when ponytails were reserved for the schoolyard or lazy days at home. These days, ponytails are red-carpet status quo and acceptable hairstyles for a wide range of formal occasions. Of course, not all ponytails are created equal. To get the right look, make sure the ponytail is positioned very high on the head – anything mid level risks looking too bland. A high pony tail also elongates your appearance and will look better in photos. High pony tails look chic teamed with modern dresses such as off-the-shoulder, sheath, and other close-fitting styles.
