Bridal Fashion Week Spring 2014: Marchesa

Proving she is some sort of wonderwoman, the delightful Georgina Chapman, designer behind red carpet favourite Marchesa was back at it for Spring Bridal Week just one week after giving birth to her son.

As always, the aesthetic was romantic, whimsical and celebratory of the female form.

Beautifully fitted corsets were matched with elegant lace, ruffles and a whole lotta tulle. A clear winner was a embroidered lace gown, as a “two-for” with a gorgeous taffeta skirt that is detachable- giving a beautiful hourglass figure to the bride.

Chapman also showed shorter more modern dresses for a non-traditional bride that were still, simply stunning.
