Oh gosh. Ohgoshohgoshohgosh. Sorry BWA-ites, but I’m finding it really hard to type coherently at the moment because I am so darn excited. After what feels like forever, we are only a few weeks away from The Great Gatsby finally coming to Aus. Meanwhile we have these pics from the world premiere in New York to tide us over. The Great Gatsby’s two biggest female stars, Carey Mulligan and Isla Fisher, dominated the red carpet, while Nina Dobrev, Jennifer Morrison and Florence Welch also made appearances.
My favourite beauty look of the night was Isla Fisher’s gorgeous berry lips and winged liner. However, just to put it out there, I’m a little disappointed at the lack of 1920s inspired hair and makeup. Part of me hoped that the premiere would be a giant 1920s fancy dress party. (Wouldn’t that be just the coolest?) (Did I just sound like a 13 year old?) But, I digress. Check out the beauty looks below!
