So, as I mentioned before, over this past week we have been crazy at V with shoots and finishing up the issue. Shooting 2 shoots a day, almost every day…including a not-so-fun 22 hour day!
BUT, they are mostly super fun days, and always the most inspiring. You get to see everything you’ve been working on – from idea conceptualisation to the hard work of actually getting everything together to make it happen – really come to life, and watch the collaboration of a group of really talented people create an amazing story.
One of the shoots I’ve been on in the past week was a 2-day long gig, with about 25 people involved, from the stylist and photographer to models, producers, assistants, agents, caterers…but what a great 2 days. Here are some images from behind the scenes – the story will be published to run in the upcoming Spring Preview issue of V, which will be on stands mid-January.
“All the pretty colours with jewellery designer Tom Binns”
“Manolos eat your heart out”
“All the Chanel you ever need”
“Get your bling on”
“Outside on location, in Brooklyn. All the leaves are turning!”
“I can’t even begin to tell you the value of that necklace…let’s just say it involves real diamonds, a lot of them, and a body guard…”
“Behind the scenes at 3am”
“Vintage Versace…what more can I say..”
