Remember that one time when you wanted to lose weight, so you decided to coat your body in paraffin wax? And then you had a suction cup massage, followed by hooking up electrical cords to your face and ankles? *Laughs* Those were the days, weren’t they?
But seriously folks, if you were a dolly in the 1950s that wanted to razz your date’s berries, you’d totally go all out on the beauty front, or else risk faking out with a greaser. Which in 1950s slang means: “if you were a cute girl back in the day, and wanted to impress your man, you’d do that crazy shiz otherwise you’d end up going on a dud date with a dude that has greasy hair.”
