October is here and so comes my time to be excited as I have the lovely honour of taking on the role of Guest Editor for Breakfast with Audrey this month!
My name is Emma Lucey (sometimes just Emm for short), I just turned 21 and I’m based in Sydney. My blog is Spin Dizzy Fall which I started in 2009 when I wanted to post some behind the scenes photos of the routines of a vintage seller and thought it was a nice way to display some the of the designs from the store.
In the past I have owned a little vintage store online however nowadays I have given up being a full time vintage collector & seller to study Communications and Media at University though sometimes I still like to pass on vintage treasures from my collection to make way for even more.
My interest in fashion has continued to grow over the last few years and I’ve been greatly educated by my fellow fashion bloggers and all the amazing events and shows I’ve been lucky enough to attend as a blogger including behind the scenes work at lookbook shoots, designer showings and of course Australian Fashion Week in Sydney.
My personal style usually centres around unique pieces and vintage finds. I love texture and my favourite styles for summer are basic designs paired with bold colour (preferably vintage of course) and almost anything metallic! Ankle boots are my shoe of choice and I’m all for an arm party.
Over the month I plan to give BWA readers a little insight into vintage shopping, different styles and trends that can be done with vintage pieces and I’ll show off examples of vintage treasure and bargains that I find along the way!
