The geniuses at VS Sassoon have come up with a curling product that even the most technologically challenged can master. The Fashion Curl is from the same family as the VS number #1 selling styler, Curl Secret – just in a more compact (and travel-friendly) form.

The genius of the Fashion Curl is that it does all the hard work for you. Quite literally, you brush your hair, select a (roughly) 3cm section of hair and place it between the centre of the styler. Once you close the handles, the styler wraps your hair around the heat barrel inside and then gives you a friendly beep to let you know your curl is ready to release. Voila – instant curls that any self-respecting Disney Princess would be proud of.

If you’re after a slightly messier or looser curl, let your hair cool and then gently brush until your curls are at that just-right sweet spot and spritz with a light dusting of hairspray to set.

The Fashion Curl has two heat settings to chose from – one for finer hair and another for thick/coarse haired lasses. It also comes with a safety feature which automatically releases your hair should it become caught up in the styler – so even those afraid of styling products should be able to manage this baby.
