The neckerchief is no longer the exclusive uniform of sailors and boy scouts. It’s time to re-purpose those paisley bandanas from the noughties!

The humble neck scarf has come a long way since it’s origins tucked under the collars of happy campers. Now the accessory of choice for street style stars and the fashion-conscious, the neckerchief has been spotted on everyone from Leandra Medine to Olivia Palermo.
Let’s just say that the neckerchief is your new must-try.
Wrap it around your neck three times, leave it loose, use it as a choker, tie it in a knot or fashion it into a pussy bow. Whichever way you like it, experimentation is the key.
The beauty of the neck scarf lies in its infinite possibilities of colour, texture and pattern making it an accessory you can add to almost any outfit.
Scroll below for inspiration on how to style a neckerchief:
1. Pair with your summer dress for a little added flair.

A real problem for me is finding styles that keep the scarf ON without me having to fuss with it every five minutes.
I know! It looks like such a deceptively easy style.
I’m also noticing people appropriating the neckerchief around the wrist! Maybe this makes it easier – a stepping stone if you will 😉
would love to see step by step guide on how to tie!
kind of like it
