The National Graduate Showcase is one of the highlights of my fashion calendar year to year and those that have had the pleasure of witnessing the design genius of these talented young artists would understand why.
These designers don’t have to care about how many pieces they sell, or who’s going to buy- allowing them to be as creative as they please, and the results are always staggering.
When you think “fashion is art” this is the culmination of that phrase played out in real life.
Anisha Bhoyro’s intelligent designs had the crowd floored, with a departure from seams for a simple, chic finish she manipulates fabrics by hand to create shape and movement.
Hands down my favourite collection of the night was from Natalia Grzybowski  who brought blown out symmetrical floral prints in beautifully architectural pieces that were insightful when flattering and referencing the female form.
Laura HuiShan Li was inspired by windblown sand and produced some visually stunning leather pieces that seemed to defy gravity.
I could rave on and on about each and every one of these incredible designers but really you should all have a look for yourselves below!

i agree!
OMG that’s a clock!
There is something very ‘giggle and hoot’ about that clock outfit, perhaps it’s the shade or orange and blue used.
Laura HuiShan Li – her work is amazing!
Some of these are amazing, its great to see the up and comers not being scared to push their creations. Love Sally’s tartan creations but then being a Vivienne Westwood fan its not that surprising,
