You may have been impressed by Blake Lively’s Chanel Mademoiselle handbag campaign, but even die-hard Blake fans will find it hard to deny that Keira Knightley still reigns. Knightley has been with Chanel since 2007 and after not appearing in any Chanel campaigns since 2009, she has starred in a hot and heavy short film before the dust could even settle on Blake’s ads.
Given the film is directed by Joe Wright of Atonement and Pride & Prejudice, I’m tempted to call it Suede & Seduction – there’s plenty of both. Keira is the girl of every man’s dreams riding a motorbike in a cream suede catsuit, and when she’s not in the catsuit, she’s between the sheets. A suggestive film isn’t complete without a sexy soundtrack, and with the sultry voice of Joss Stone covering ‘It’s a Man’s World’ in the background, Chanel has absolutely nailed it. I wouldn’t have thought I’d be saying this but Keira is more provocative than Blake. Who do you think does Chanel better?
Disclaimer: watching the film will likely result in buying the fragrance.
