Tip #3 – Lighting
Lighting can make or break a photo, and can also impact the overall cool or warm tones of your picture. No one wants harsh shadows from the sun ruining your picture perfect bubbles and cheese boomerang picture!
If you have the chance, also try to capture your moments during golden hour – typically the first hour of sunrise or the last hour before sunset. Golden hour provides the benefits of a soft diffused light from the sun leading to less contrast, harsh shadows and a warm glow.
If shadows are unavoidable, play around with the Shadows or Brightness setting on your photo. Snapseed even offers a selective brighting function if you have a particularly drab shadow zapping energy from your picture.
