I am definitely not a morning person, however bringing yoga into my daily routine each morning has really made a huge difference in how I am for the rest of the day.
Not only does it get your blood pumping, its an opportunity to start the day off right. Just like your morning meal being the most important meal of the day, your morning exercise routine is one of the most important things you can do to prepare for a busy work day.
These are two of my favourite morning Yoga Youtube routines- one is under 5 mins, and the other under 8 mins for those of you who are time poor, for you to do when you wake up to release tension in tight areas including hamstrings, chest, back, and your brain.
