If you do prefer to use heat tools, a spiral curler or barrel tong is your best friend. Curl the hair away from the face in sections, and allow to cool. Once the springy curls have set gently drag your fingers through them to stretch out anything too ringlet-like and give that lived-in look. A blast of cool air and a spritz of finishing spray or hairspray will lock the waves in place.
TIP – To REALLY lock waves in place, we recommend getting your hands on some spray wax. A little goes a very long way, and you can keep your waves in play for around 3 days. We recommend Paul Mitchell spray wax, because it is the best product ever invented 🙂
