Balmain: Paris Spring/Summer 2012 RTW

This is the first serious collection for the young and very handsome Olivier Rousteing for Balmain since the depature of Christophe Decarnin earlier this year.

The collection maintains the luxe Balmain aesthetic, but Rousteing has injected his own flair in the cleaner lines. As always, the collection is sexy with pieces travelling from hipster pants to short shorts and gem encrusted jackets. The designer described elements of the collection as “Mixing the tailoring of Mexico and the glamour of Vegas,” (Style.com).
