personally, Hunter ones are beautiful but out of the price range of a uni student, so Target will have to suffice

I can’t seem to pull off wearing gumboots

It depends on how much you’re going to use them as to the price. I bought a pair for £4 and they lasted years (until my parrot started chewing on them), as would a pair of gardening wellies. Also remember to wear high, thick socks if you don’t have padded wellies because they can really grate against the skin if you walk in them too much.

I’ve been meaning to buy a pair of gumboots for the past year, it gets so horrible and wet in Sydney. I rather like the neon-soled ones, but I wouldn’t be paying more than $30-40 for a pair of gumboots. They’d prolly be easy to DIY…

One must be careful to pick just the right ones for oneself so as to not look like santa claus.
