Personal Outfit: Uniqlo Linen Looks

As part of our recent UNIQLO giveaway collaboration, I was invited to shoot some of the brand’s latest arrivals from their French linen ‘lifewear’ collection.

Being the shirt lover that I am, I could not go past the classic linen long sleeve shirt in ‘natural’ (a nice change from regular white!) ($49.90), and I also chose their fab double-breasted linen blazer ($99) in brown.

Both options are completely versatile, and I can see myself wearing them over and over again this Summer. Staples like this are always worth having on hand and at these prices, you can afford to have a few!

This light-weight, breathable linen blazer instantly transforms casual into “smart casual”, and it’s work-friendly too. I was impressed with the lines and cut of this jacket, and for under $100, it’s a great buy.

I teamed the shirt and blazer with a great pair of jeans from Jeanswest’s new ‘Prima Denim collection‘ ($129). These jeans are super comfortable and super-stretchy! They are quite high-waisted and feature zips on the ankles.

The camouflage pumps are by ‘Diavolina‘. If you’ve ever wanted a pair of Louboutins but don’t have a lazy $800 lying around, then definitely try to track down a pair of the Alessa pumps by this brand instead. They come in all sorts of colours but sell out quickly. At $149 (available online or from ‘Wanted’), they’re well worth it.
