2012 has been the year of sheer, and the runways have been inundated with sexy and bold pieces that show off all sorts of assets. The sheer trend also has a strong celeb following with the likes of Naomie Harris and Kristen Stewart- with gowns have clearly made a revealing statement on the red carpet.
There are many ways to play with sheer. If you’re too shy to show off your mid-section opt for sheer sleeves or a sheer back. If you want to be prim and proper, play with semi-sheer pieces that have lots of texture. But if you’re daring enough, try wearing pieces that flaunt your killer pins or cleavage. The fun with sheer is that you can choose what you want to reveal and leave the rest to the imagination.

To vamp it up, pair your black sheer top or dress with your sexiest black bra and dark lips; and for a striking street look, experiment with contrasting underlays and mix up tones.
