BY: SARAH PIETRAPERTOSA

It’s incredibly easy to fall head over heels for the city of love and lights. Croissants for breakfast? I’ll take 3 please.

Sometimes it can be difficult (and costly) to make the trip to a la Paris. With the Parisian way of life becoming ever so popular, it’s become easy to feel as though you’re smack bang in the middle of Le Marais nibbling on a baguette (when you might just be 15 minutes from home).

For Melbournians, you’re in luck. Spots of the CBD with serious Parisian vibes are growing.

Read on for all the incredibly beautiful spots that will have you feeling like Paris is always a good idea – beaucoup merci Audrey!

#1 – La Belle Miette (Hardware Lane and Collins ST, CBD)

When the macaron craze took over Melbourne, founder of La Belle Miette and French lady herself – Maylynn Tsoi opened the prettiest little thing Melbourne has to offer (the meaning of La Belle Miette is literally small beautiful thing, how chic?).

Located in Hardware Lane, full of Parisian ambiance, walking through the doors of La Belle Miette is a feeling that I imagine is similar to walking into the famous Laduree of Champs-Elysees. Beautiful white panelling and imported Mariage Freres tea – it doesn’t get any more Parisian than that.

Having opened up 2 more stores located on the Parisian end of Collins Street and a kiosk in Chadstone, it’s easy to understand its immense popularity.

Oh and the macarons? To die for.
