Dear BWA-ites,

Around Christmas the blogosphere is booming with festive beauty ideas and tips and tricks to help you get through the silly season (red lips? At Christmas? Well I never!). For example, I could tell you that candy cane nails are a cute Christmas-themed alternative to neon flashing Santa earrings. I could also tell you that if you want your makeup to last the entire day, you’ll definitely need to use primer. And I could even let you know that heavy duty waterproof mascara is the only way to combat the inevitable panda eyes caused by our hot Australian weather. Or family conflict.

But, I won’t.

Instead I’m going to leave you with this: relax, enjoy yourself, and the main ingredient in your grandma’s traditional trifle is sherry. (You’re welcome!)
